Anthony Hargrove joins Packers

Veteran defensive lineman Anthony Hargrove has signed with the Green Bay Packers. Hargrove made the announcement on his verified Twitter account. He had three sacks, a safety and 18 tackles last season for the Seattle Seahawks. Hargrove won a Super Bowl ring with the New Orleans Saints two years ago. For his career, Hargrove has 223 tackles and 19 1/2 sacks.

He once served a one-year suspension for violating the NFL substance-abuse policy during a stint with the Buffalo Bills. Hargrove is a former St. Louis Rams third-round draft pick in the 2004 NFL draft who has also played for the Buffalo Bills.
