University of Georgia DE Charles Grant will be meeting with team officials on Tuesday and Wednesday. Grant will arrive late Tuesday night in New Orleans and leave early Wednesday morning.
The 6'3", 278-pound Grant has been shooting up draft boards of late after his sensational pro day workout where he posted forties of 4.60 and 4.68, 24 reps of 225, 36" vertical, and looked excellent in position drills.
Team officials told the SaintsInsider staff that Grant would be a consideration with the 25th pick. Grant will also be visiting Arizona, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Philadelphia, New England, Buffalo, St. Louis, and the Giants.
