The New Orleans Saints announced on Friday that SS Roman Harper, LB Scott Fujita and CB Randall Gay will all miss Sunday's game vs. Washington with various injuries.

It puts more pressure on a defense that released injured DT Hollis Thomas on Wednesday and placed MLB Mark Simoneau on injured reserve.

Chris Reis is expected to replace Harper, while Troy Evans will likely replace Fujita. Mike McKenzie would be the natural choice to replace Gay, though McKenzie did not play last week as he continues to round into shape after his knee surgery last year.

The Saints have already lost DT Antwan Lake for the game due to a groin injury. Josh Savage will be activated from the practice squad to fill his place.

Also, RB Aaron Stecker will miss action for the second straight week with a hamstring injury.

In other injury news on Friday:

DT Alvin McKinley, who was signed Wednesday to add depth to the defensive line, injured his left foot during that practice and did not work Thursday. He did work out Friday and is listed as probable.

RB Deuce McAllister practiced all week and is listed as probable. He did not play last week despite being active.
