New Orleans head coach Sean Payton talked with Bob Papa and Jerry Rice on Sirius NFL Radio on Monday about the Saints' preparations for the playoffs.

During his weekly interview on Sirius NFL Radio, it was mentioned that out of the teams playing this weekend, only the Seattle Seahawks haven't played the Saints this year. The New Orleans' coach was asked if that familiarity with the others was an advantage in preparing for their next opponent.

"I think it helps some. It helps from a personnel standpoint," he explained. "... Having gone through the personnel meetings the week before you played them in the regular season, you kind of go through each position on 'D' and on offense and on special teams. And so, now you go back through it and you can kind of get through that aspect of it quicker and get on to the scheme."

Listen to the full interview, compliments of Sirius NFL Radio, as Payton provides updates on injured players, what the team's schedule will be during the bye week, his philosophy in how he approached personnel decisions for last weekend's game, and more!
